Thank You Tag
Hello, Today I'm back with a cute tag.
I used the Stampendous Regal Bird stack art kits.
I began by applying gesso to all the chipboard pieces then painting them.
Next I stamped and embossed the backgrounds. I added glitter and mica to the crown.
You can't tell from the picture but I added some glitter to the embossing powder I used.
I added flocking to the bird's body and I used a stamp and embossed his small wing.
I used liquid pearls for his eye.
After assembling the pieces, I embellished with some leaf ribbon and I created a small spray using tiny flower beads on a wire. I added more Liquid Pearls to the centers of the flowers to cover the wire.
I painted the seam binding for the bow with 2 colors of distress paint.
These are the materials used:
Stampendous Fran's Stack Art Kraftboard kit - Regal Bird
Stack Art Stamp Kit - Regal Bird
Stampendous Elements Kit Fusion
Tim Holtz Distress paint - Crushed olive
Seam binding
Enjoy.

Bloom Girl Cards
Hello,
Today I'm sharing my collection of Bloom Girls.
I got the inspiration for these cards from Cari Fennell on Live with Prima. This is such an easy way to make cards and a great way to use these large stamps.
I started by stamping my Bloom girls on white cardstock and coloring them with my Prismacolor pencils. Next, I used color cardstock to create a 5x7 card. I cut each girl 1/4 inch smaller than the card and adhered it to the front of the card and I was done.
You could also make these cards smaller or embellish them. I kept mine simple.

Gelatos & Bloom Girl Tag
Hello;
It is late, I can't sleep so I decided to craft.
I just finished this tag and wanted to share.
I created the background with Gelatos then used a Prima Stencil to add the details. It was super easy and fast. Next I stamped my Bloom Girl on cardstock, used my color pencils then added her to the tag.
The sentiment is from a Tim Holtz stamp set.
Enjoy.

Bloom Girl Tee
Hi!
I bought this blouse recently and I decided to use one of my new Bloom Girl stencils to embellish it.
I used fabric paints and tried not to use very bright colors. I'm not a teenager anymore, but the temperature here is sometimes so crazy that this is the proper attire.
Thanks for stopping by.

Up-Cycled Tin
Hello!
Today I want to share this altered tin.
I used blue acrylic paint mixed with gesso to paint the tin. Next, I stamped and embossed Bloom Girl Sharon then colored her using acrylic paint. I added the leaves on the background using a stencil and modeling paste then added some ultra fine pearl glitter while still wet. I used a white wash to tone down the background color and used a marker to outline some parts of the leaves.
For the leaves on the side I used the stencil and paint then added modeling paste over it.
I finished by adding pearls and sealing the whole thing with gel medium.
I want to enter this in:

Altered Clock
Hello.
Today I'm sharing a clock I made as a Father's day gift for my brother.
I started by adding blue acrylic paint to my gesso and painting the clock. Next I played with walnut stain , bronze and copper paints until I was pleased with the color. I added some embossing enamel and mica flakes to the front .
I found the pattern for the wings online and I made them out of a double layer of cardstock. I cut them , drew the feathers then added modeling paste. I used my heat tool to dry the paste and it bubbled up and created a very interesting texture. I attached them to the clock with glue and added hinges.
The eyes are from G45 Curiosity Shop papers and I added glossy accents.
I also made a mini album to go inside. I used the back cover as a template to cut my cardstock pieces.
For the inside back cover I used adhesive fabric. I used distress paints to create a background, then used my Tim holtz stamps. I added 2 magnets to the metal cover before attaching the fabric and that is what holds the mini inside the clock.
For the back, I embossed a chipboard piece and I used a Tim Holtz stamp.
My pictures don't show the different shades of colors and textures...I need more practice.
Thanks for looking!

Doll Tag
This tag was made using one of the mixed media doll stamps from Julie Nutting. I covered the tag with DCWV paper then added Stampendous aged embossing enamel to all the edges. I used the same enamel on the stamped image at the top of the tag.
The flowers were made using a scalloped circle punch.
The doll was stamped twice on cream card stock then fussy cut. On the skirt I used a small doily stamp and clear embossing powder, then I added distress inks to add color. The embossed areas did not take on the color and that created the pattern on the skirt. I used foam adhesive to add the skirt to the doll and to attach the doll on the tag.
Easel Card
Here is a quick easel card I made last night.
I used alcohol markers on the image... I am new at this but I think the result was ok.The image is from Penny Black's Mimi's loves and the sentiment is Stampendous Spanish Greetings.
I used my Spellbinders labels 20 dies to create a mat for my image then made some flowers to embellish the card. I also added some small butterflies, some flat back pearls and some ribbon. The bow is what keeps the card upright. I finished it by adding the sentiment with some foam adhesive.
The base is a 5x10 piece of card. I used my Scor pal and scored at 5 then at 7.5 inches and folded. To this I added a 5x5 piece of card then I embellished.

Altered Tin
I am trying to get my craft space organized and I decided to re-cycle some empty cookie tins. I started by mixing a small amount of paint with some gesso and painting the tin. I found some white lace, colored it with my inks and added it to the box using tacky glue.
On the lid I used a doily stencil and some modeling paste. After it was dry I added color with distress ink and added some shimmer with Peal Ex powders.
For the flowers I used dies from Spellbinders and Tim Holtz tattered Florals . They were made using cream card stock and I added the color using inks and home made glimmer mists. I added some seed beads to the centers of the flowers and made the small bead spray.
The small butterfly is a sticker. I added a piece of clear plastic, cut around it then added pink color. I finished the box by adding some pink bling around the lid and the bottom.
I had so much fun that I am working on a second one. They just remind me of spring.

Tropical tag # 2
This is the second tag I made today.
On this tag I stamped the leaves with Versamark and clear embossing powder. I used my inkpads and watercolor pencils to color the leaves and the background. On the parrot I used Prismacolor pencils, I cut the image and used foam tape to adhere it. For the flower I used a Sizzix Framelit die and the center was created using some plastic flowers from the dollar store. On the edges I used Tim Holtz distress ink and finished it with some fibers.
Materials used:
- Stampendous Jumbo Parrot Stamp
- Tim Holtz distress ink- frayed burlap
- Prismacolor pencils
- Sizzix Framelit- Flowers # 3
- Clear embossing powder
Tropical Tags
Today I was playing with the Jumbo Parrot Stamp from Stampendous and this is what I created...tags.
The parrot in this tag is made of cold porcelain. You can find recipes on you tube.
I made the porcelain, stamped the image, cut the excess off and left the image to air dry for a few days. I used watercolor paper to create the background. I stamped the leaves using Versamark then used clear embossing powder. I used watercolor pencils and my inkpads to color in the leaves and the background. I added some aged embossing enamel for the grass and around the edges of the tag. I finished with some fibers on the bottom border. The background was sprayed with glimmer mist in green and yellow and the parrot has blue pearl ex on the feathers.
The top image is stamped on cardstock and the bottom one is the porcelain. You can see it shrinks a bit.
The image on the left is the parrot stamped on regular cardstock and the one on the right is the back of the porcelain one. I left it unpainted so you could see what it looks like.
Materials used:
Stampendous Jumbo Parrot Stamp
Stampendous aged teal embossing enamel
Clear embossing powder
Watercolor pencils, inks
Pearl Ex powders

February Card
I made this friendship card using the Stampendous Jumbo Hollyhocks stamp.
I used a cream card base and a simple mat . I cut a second mat using a die and inked the edges.
I stamped the image on cream card stock using watermark ink and clear embossing powder .
I sponged on some Tim Holtz distress inks to add color then cut it using a Spellbinder die. I added some Stampendous aged teal embossing enamel around the border of the stamped image and adhered it to the card using foam tape.
Paper shoe
I just finished this shoe last night .
I used 110lb cardstock, covered with paper then cut and scored the pieces. To make the flower I cut a 3/4" strip of paper and scored every 1/4 inch using my scor- pal. I layered the paper flower with lace and used ribbon to finish the edges of the shoe.
I searched online for " free paper shoe patterns" and found various styles. The one I used is by Ellen Hutson .
Valentine Cards
I am finally back in my craft room after what seems like a very long time. Sometimes you can't help it. Life happens...
My first project was a Valentine's day card for my hubby.
I used the Graphic 45 French Country collection. I added one of the small chipboard pieces from the collection , a small key and some brads to finish it off. The large sentiment was cut from DCWV paper I had in my stash and matted on black cardstock. The inside was also decorated with some of the papers.
