Tea Time Birthday Easel card

Hi,

My neighbor loves anything shabby chic so I made this  easel card for her birthday.
This is my version of shabby chic.

I used the Tea Time die from Tim Holtz, added I am Roses flowers and some flat back pearls.

I created a box envelope and used a tea cup as the closure. When you pull on the sting from the tea bag the flap pulls out from inside the tea cup.

I hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.

Mostly green Journal Page

Hi,

This week I've been trying to get my scrap room organized but I keep getting distracted or having to take too many "breaks". Yesterday, I grouped  all my gelatos, pencils, and different mediums in small containers trying to decide how to store them efficiently and instead I wound up playing with them.
I began by creating a background with Gelatos and mists, then I used stencils and modeling paste for the leafy backdrop. I used stamps, markers and pencils to add more foliage and added mica fragments  and ultra fine glitter to add more texture.
The parrot is a Stampendous stamp that I colored with pencils, cut out and added to my page using foam adhesive. As a finishing touch I added some small butterflies.

I used a stencil and modeling paste for the
large leaf and the small ones on the branch.

this is a close up of the mica fragments and glitter.

I added micro beads to create the body of the tiny butterflies.

I will be participating in Take a Challenge with Mou - July 2015. This months' challenge was to use the color green.
Thanks for watching.

Buttons and twine

Hello,

Here is a fun card I made for Father's Day. I wanted to try something new, so used things I had around the house.
I used a stencil and some ink spray to create the background on the green mat.
I found some vintage buttons from my stash, added jute twine and glued  them  on to the mat to create  my card.

Flower bird house

This is my third post today and here is another birdhouse box.
I had so much fun with the first one that I decided to make a second.  I thought the flowers and the colors in the paper were just perfect for this project.

Bird house gift box

Hi,

My husband asked me to make a small box for a mother's day gift for his sister and I thought I would try to make a bird house. I saw a tutorial some time ago and this was the perfect opportunity to try making one.
I used 12x12 printed cardstock , my scor- pal, trims from my stash and here is the result.
Enjoy.

The front has a piece if recycled plastic and inside you see the wrapped gift.

I used an embossing folder to add texture to the roof then sprayed some glimmer mist.

Art Journal page

Hello!

YAY..... finally another post. I'm terrible with this.

Here is a journal page I recently finished . I used Gelatos, modeling paste, inks, stencils  and my new stamps from Dylusions. The idea was to just play and use my stash.
Enjoy.

Mixed Flowers Card

Hello. This is my second post for today and I have another card.

This car was made using Mixed Flowers stamp and embossing folder set from Hero Arts and Sizzix.

I randomly  added blue, yellow and pink ink to my stamp and stamped on white card.
I glued the stamped image onto a blue mat.
Using a border punch I created a decorative strip and I added some blue ribbon and some pearls.
I stamped the sentiment and added it to the card using foam dots.
I also added tiny pearls to the centers of the embossed flowers.
The colors don't look as nice in this picture as they are in person.

Vines and butterflies

Hi everyone,

Today I want to share a simple  Easter card.
I stamped the image using different colors to highlight the flowers and butterflies.
Next I embossed it using a coordinating embossing folder, I added a mat and some small rhinestones  on the corners and done.

I used  the Silhouette Vines stamp and embossing folder set from Sizzix and Hero Arts.

Cofee cup tag

Hello.

Today I have another tag.
I started by using Gesso on the tag.  Once dry I added Cotton Candy and Green Tea Gelatos to create the background. Next I added text at random places using a stamp from my stash. I then added a coat of Gel Medium . The swirls are made with modeling paste and I added mica powders before the paste dried completely. I used a piece of canvas to make the heart and added some cheese cloth before attaching  the cup to the tag.

Tim Holtz February tag challenge

Hi everyone!

This is my tag for the Tim Holtz 12 tags challenge. I didn't have all the materials he used so I improvised.

I used paper from Tim's Wallflower stack and scraps from my stash to create the collage.
I cut 2 hearts from a scrap of fabric and glued them together. I used "festive berries " re-inker to add color to the heart and the arrow is an ideology sticker. I glued the heart to a resin frame that I colored with Distress paints.
I was feeling lazy so instead of sewing I used a stamp to create the stitching around the tag.
I created the corner piece by cutting a metal jewelry finding I had in my stash and I colored it with alcohol ink. I also colored the small heart brad on the top corner of the tag and the small heart that hangs from the metal key.
I found the hearts lace in my stash and it was a pale blue color , so I used my inks to distress it a bit and add it to the tag.

Here is the link for Tim's challenge.

Flowery mini album

Hello!

Today I' sharing some pictures of a mini I made for my brothers' wife.
She loves lace and flowers and I tried to make the mini as girly as possible. I used Spellbinder and Sizzix dies to make the frames and tags and lots of pearl trim.
She is not a scrapbooker so it is mainly for pictures and not very interactive.
Let me know what you think and have a great day.

All the butterflies in the album were cut out and glued to the page by adding glue only to the center part. This leaves the wings free to fold up and create dimension.

The rectangular frames have removable tags.

The frames have removable tags. The butterfly on the right is glued onto wire to make it as if she was flying.

These tags are also removable and the frames have acetate.

This was my first time making a slider and it was quite fun.
